WT BEST stands for West Texas Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology.   The West Texas Hub is one of many regional hubs that participates in the BEST program.  The goal of the BEST program is to inspire Jr. High and High School students in engineering, science, and technology through participation in an exciting sports-like contest.

OUR VISION
To excite our nation's students about science and technology to unlock their imagination and discover their potential.

OUR MISSION
To inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science, technology, and math through participation in a sports-like science and engineering-based robotics competition.
Students participate at no cost.  Students are the primary participants and benefactors.
There are no entry fees or kit costs associated with the BEST competition.  Travel costs, team shirts and other team enhancements may be funded by participating schools, but basic participation is free.
BEST is an equal opportunity program.
Anyone can participate.  The only prerequisites for participation in BEST are time and motivation.  Any team with schools sponsorship may participate in the BEST competition.
BEST makes learning fun!
The BEST competition provides an engineering based experience in a sports-like environment.
