Some portions of the required student work are expected to be done satisfactorily. These items do not add to the overall grade but subtract from the grade if they are not done satisfactorily. The specific formula for calculating the final grade is:

20 % Weekly Presentations

15 % Final Presentations

25 % Written Reports

30 % Advisor Presentations

100% Total

-5 % Project Notebook

-10 % Other Material

-10% Failure to upload final report on moodle 

-5% per week for failure to attend and be attentive in lab meetings

-5% per week for failure to hand-in signed and graded weekly reports
